Hello! I’m Christine.

Below is a little bit about me, my career path, and how I came to be…

I’ve always said that my career chose me and I’m so glad it did. I am extremely passionate about helping others.

I started college at age 26, studying Landscape Design and switching to Art. 4 years later, I graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts and a minor in Art Therapy

Then, I moved on to achieve two Master's Degrees: one in Human Services at Capella University and the other in Clinical Social Work at Fordham University. My education inspired me to pursue my license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

I have over  25-plus years of experience working with many families and children.  My experience includes working within the state and legal systems alongside attorneys and guardian ad litems, as well as with school and other providers all with the common goal to address the many challenges that impact families. Challenges include mental health, addiction, family violence, and breakdown in communication.

Having investigated and testified to emotionally charged custody matters is what motivated me to start my first business Co-parenting Solutions, LLC.   My vision was to teach parents how to co-parent in a manner that will support their children from a child-centered perspective with the full intention of growing well-adjusted and resilient children.

In 2018, I resigned from 15 years of working in child protection.  It was the bravest jump I had ever taken in my life and it was truly surreal. This led me to start my second business, Lower Valley Psychotherapy Services, LLC. where I provide psychotherapy to adults ages 18 and up, as well as Relational/Family/Couples Therapy.

I don’t think of myself as your typical therapist/coach. I want the work to be flexible and engaging. I’m a talker and a good listener. My intentions are always to meet you where you are. However, I’ll also challenge you to step into what is uncomfortable when appropriate. The work is hard and real, but I assure you the forward momentum of growth and change will be powerful.

Come… take the journey! My approach is safe and judgment-free.  I look forward to working with you.
